URGENT CALL FOR VOLUNTEER REPRESENTATIVES

The Foundation urgently needs your help.

News about the Foundation's exciting new programs is spreading throughout North America. We receive invitations to participate in many Slovak events. Because the Foundation relies on a mostly volunteer professional staff, we cannot possibly attend all of these wonderful opportunities to share our love of Slovakia and Slovak culture.

We seek volunteer representatives from the Slovak community in North America to represent the Foundation at some of these events. Volunteers who attend events on behalf of the Foundation will be responsible for distributing information about the Foundation's many worthwhile projects and answering questions about our mission, purpose, and goals. You may also be asked to show samples of some of the books and art sponsored by the Foundation, and distribute literature.

Volunteers will receive special recognition for their work, and they may be eligible for certain tax benefits. They will also get to meet many more warm and wonderful friends of Slovakia.

THE FOUNDATION NEEDS VOLUNTEER PROFESSIONALS

The Foundation depends on a mostly volunteer professional staff in the United States and Slovakia for the success of its programs. We have no paid employees, and several professionals, including attorneys and business executives, have already donated many hours of work for our cause.

We have many wonderful new plans for 2009 and beyond, but we cannot implement them by ourselves.

We have the following opportunities for volunteer professionals:

• experienced editors
• translators
• book reviewers
• public relations experts
• commercial artists
• journalists
• text processors
• videographers
• cable TV programmers
• internet and e-commerce experts

Donating professional skills is an excellent way to return to your Slovak roots and bring to the world the wonderful literature and art of Slovakia and Slovak diaspora in North America and elsewhere (in certain circumstances, some tax benefits may also be available). You will meet many-like minded Slovaks, and experience the heart-felt satisfaction of philanthropy for a great cause.
